this is my favorite piece I've done to date. I'm doing a series of lumieres because I love carving into clay as much as throwing it. There will be more to come.

i'd definitely have to agree with you! gorgeous. i look forward to seeing your others. did you hand draw the flower design as well? you truly are talented, RPM!

Aww thanks Sunshine. And yes, I hand drew the flowers, and used a circle clay punch for my centerpoints. I think this is the first piece I made that just made my giddy. I could see progress.

progress, indeed!!! I'm just so impressed with the hand drawings. i doubt my hand is so steady. everytime i see your work, it makes me want to join a class.

Do it do it do it. Go with the urge, there must be a reason for it. It's a good experience, no matter where it takes you.
