Oh, can I say enough that we LOVED LOVED LOVED having you here!! And this post is wonderfully rich with detail and fodder for lots of RPM posts "for another day". Yay! And as usual, it's written beautifully, warmly and oh so "RPM-ly"!

"The way the clouds and the sky seems to be right at your fingertips nearly everywhere you go in the bay area"...

So true. Even after almost three years here, I still drive down the road on a day like today and on most days and marvel at the natural beauty of this place. (I've also been know to pull out the camera and take a picture or two too.)

I am so glad you're in the Vox neighborhood and even happier that you found your way to my San Jose neighborhood this week!

well, i don't think i could put it much better than Patty. i am definitely looking forward to your posts "for another day"--and i am, of course, thoroughly intrigued. as i am sure i should be. :)

and, dear, g&t? bleargh. i don't know how you drank them! (side note, i have a friend here who isn't allowed to drink gin--it makes her mean. and she's not a mean girl at all!)

*waiting with baited breath and breathless with jealousy*

oh... and did i see a comment somewhere about a summer trip? how awesome would it be if we could all coordinate and meet up together?! i'll be in Ventura in... prolly July.

I haven't written about the "gathering", because I knew all of you would do a much better job. And, of course, you have. I'm so glad to have met you. Your words are perfect. And, I too, can't wait for the posts for another day. Hugs!
It sounds like you guys had a ball, I saw the pics on Patty's page too...I've always wondered what it would be like to meet feloow Voxers, if the real life and on line life would mesh...gues it does...so cool.

We adored you!

@RPM:

My cousin A, is a serious family historian,

Has he actually documented your family's history? If not, he might want to take a look at Family Tree Maker or Geni. Unfortunately, I've only gotten so far in doing this myself.

the chance to meet some additional contacts that may be critical to the growth of our business.

Do you use Plaxo and/or LinkedIn to manage your contacts?

Sorry to hear about the G&Ts. I hope that, by the time you read this, you're feeling better! :)

Awww thank you NYCine, feeling much better. As for A, not sure what tools she uses but she's definitely the gatekeeper for a lot of the information about our history in an informal sense.

Funny about contact magament, personally, I use LinkedIn, but my sales reps use an entirely different system, tied to leads and reporting capability.

Back to bed I go...
