Five ways to avoid blog banality.

What's the deal lately? Seems like the trolls are out in force lately. This post is quite timely. Number two should be bolded or something. Seriously.

I'm worried about number three. I don't think I snark on every post I write, but pretty close. I probably just need more hugs... or slaps.

But at least I know what all my big words mean. :-P

You said it.

I blocked someone last week for the first time ever in my seven years of blogging. Crazy times.

May I add an (a) under 5? Be sure you know the meaning of even the small everyday words. And stop making yourself look stupid by overlooking basic grammar. Its = possessive; it's = it is. sheesh.

Great points!

I think #4 can be hard because sometimes, no matter how hard you try, someone will take issue with what you say and you just have to realize that you cannot please everyone all the time.

I am adding you based on this point alone. I am also favoriting it, in hopes some more people in my hood will read it. Great points!

I'd also add: "If you don't like what others have to say, don't read thier blog. Last time I checked the First Ammendment was in full force."

Great post, rpm, but now I have to ask, because I'm nosy like that -- did I miss something good while I was at work? Where are the fires, huh? *wanders off, sniffing for trolls*
[das ist gut]
Well put.

With that said, I'm going to go back and delete all of my entries! :)

This is a wonderful article!
Oh please no..don't do that. I think the people this most applies to, won't even realize it's about them. LOL
Nothing, just some random thoughts I had while roaming the innurnets. I promise. B)
After having just read mine, I've concluded that I'd need to write something a little more substantial!

Yours was very funny and oh, so true - I think it should be taught in Internet 101.

Another classic brought to you by RPM!

Hmm... I didn't see anything about whining. So I'm good? Awesome!!!
You know what makes me cringe? Poor grammar. I get so annoyed with that, but.... I usually let it go. No reason to sit around and make someone feel like you're watching their every move right?

I'm going to use more big flashy words and see what happens. I'll be pulling out the dollar words from now on.

Thanks for the tips!

I've never understood the making yourself feel bigger by making others feel smaller mentality. Life is way too short.
Very good post!

heh heh, i have more problems with those at work these days than i do on my blog. of course, that might have somthing to do with the fact that i haven't written anything in over a month!

(miss you, woman!)

I really hate one someone does #2. If you don't like someone's post, no need to beat them up about it. Heck, just don't even comment.

You haven't used the word fuckery in ages.... *pouts*

Ah RPM. You light up my days! :)

I will co-sign on this 100%.
I seem to gather misfits and nere-do-wells because of my big mouth. While I accept it at my place I hate when I reply on somebody elses Vox and a stranger goes after me for responding to a friend's post. Don't chide me to argue with you while I am visiting a friend. Send me a private message with your opinion and give me the chance to reply without soiling a neighbors hospitality. I have people send me messages telling me I spelled a word wrong, lol. Once I replied "I'll send them to you first and you can proof read them". It's very seldom that a real friend or neighbor will blast me publicly. It's the fringe element that search tags so they can stroll around dumping on people because of their own lack of neighbors.

I'm with IG on this . Missin where all the drama is. Although that is fine with me. Seems to be going around. I guess I'm too self involved lately. ;-) (or oblivious)

Hey, Dancing Bear, it's ne'er-do-wells.

sorry, I couldn't resist. *noogies*

Bitch! You wanna piece of me? C' mon, let's take it outside, lol. Sorry RPM. Couldn't resist. Here's the troublemaker right here. ; ) At least I put in hyphens.(hifens).
noogie war, parking lot, half hour!
