Good morning, Santa Clara.

They're working on it! At least, they are in the middle of building a new international terminal.

"magically voxalicious"... now that made me smile. Picturing RPM floating off in a marshmallow sailboat. Rusty butt sugar infused grinning children chasing closely behind....Lord I've watched a lot of TV in my time....

welcome to the bay area! so sad you weren't here last week when it was sunny and beautiful. unfortunately, it looks like we'll have a bit of rain, but perhaps that will make the trade show better (you know, no thinking about skipping out and playing in the sun ;). hope you have a fabulous time!!
i'm jealous. not so much of the work, but of the getting to meet up with others! any of those trips bringing you my way?
i'd like to know what became of your psuedo-suitors. *giggle*

try to have fun sunshine!

*temporarily distracted by the beautiful, tall brown man that's waiting in line for his coffee. Does silly little smile, laugh thing, then returns to post*

Ok - tomorrow night I am requesting you SHOW us that silly smile, laugh thing!
Ben (Abject) and I are SO looking forward to meeting you face to face!

Liz - we are SO looking you up if we are ever "out your way" - so what IS out your way?

Baltimore, MD. clear on the other side of the country from ya!
Hehe, see you tomorrow!

OMFG I HATE SJC sooooo much. I end up going there about 8 times a year - either to pick up or drop off carbon based life forms. It's just the worst. The last time we were there we parked in long term parking, which is named not because of the length of time you can keep your car there bur rather after the fact that it takes a long fucking time to get there!

I feel your pain!

Hopefully Wednesday will bring a lot more relaxing and enjoyable times.

I thought I hate flying into Cleveland but the mere fact that at SJC you can walk off the plane into the baggage claim from the ground freaked me the hell out. Not to mention how crowded the little place gets when planes are waiting to take off. My advice to you is drive to SF to fly out otherwise be prepared to delayed at least an hour.
@Barry: great, now I want marshmallows. LOL
@Electric Firefly: you know what? It was warmer in Austin then it is here. I couldn't believe it.
@Liz: I wish I could've packed you in my suitcase woman, you have no idea. And you know I hail from Philly, so I promise you - we're meeting up somewhere amid Delaware and doing dinner and drinks.
@AngelaMichelle: They were a fright, I wish I could say I'm not used to that...but I am. If he's weird and challenged in some way - he's always making a move towards me. My life is a sitcom that way.
@Laurel: can't wait!!!!
@Abject: I wish you could have seen the East Coast scowl on my face man. By the time I got on the rental shuttle, I was fit to be tied.
@Deborah: *blushes* I'll try, but it's terribly embarrasing. LMAO
@Carmel: an hour delay???? Are you serious? I'm already getting in at 11:30...*shakes head in disgust* I am gonna be a monster by the time I touch down.

oh yeah, wonderful SJC. Don't get me started on the officious security trolls there...and you didn't mention that third-world feeling you get coming off the plane without a jetway...just the metal stairs out to the open air!

See you tomorrow honey child!

Oh but that's only in the old old terminal, where the non American/Southwest flights come in. :)

Sounds your travels are as eventful as mine was last week :) The vox meetup should be big fun!!!
Okay, how come when I saw the city name of Santa Clara, CA, I instantly thought about the vampire film, Lost Boys? Watch out for the vampires and enjoy your stay.

So jealous you get to meet Ben and Deb. *pout*

Of all times for a little sister NOT to tag along! Give em hugs for me!!!!
You know, I have never had to rent a car at SJC, so I never knew it was such a pain in the goddamn ass. Lucky you are meeting Voxers! Now if only you could come visit Boston for a tradeshow or I could get myself sent to Austin for work.....
heck sweety we would LOVE to meet you too! We did talk about you and how we all wished you could be here. So you and C have GOT to come for a visit! We adored your sis and I'm positive we would adore you too!
Awwwwww gorsh *blushies*! I would totally love that! I knew you guys would totally hit it off, she is such a doll <3 I am down for a visit whenever the sis has some days off. *prepares to start bugging the Sibs*
