The football malaise begins.
Every year, I go through this. The post Super Bowl malaise.
A house full of XY chromosomes and me being the lone Giants fan in the house made last night's Super Bowl hilarious, and simultaneously not for the faint of heart. Today I salute the Mighty New York Giants and that media fun boy Michael Strahan who led an impressive defense against the Patriots.
And because the off season is so long, I amuse myself with Strahan videos on youtube and ESPN highlights until I can't stand it any longer.
I know. Enough with the Strahan. Favorite moments from last night?
* Favorite commercial: I felt most of them were stupid, except for the talking stain. I do not care for CGI's circus videos, dancing lizards or the like. I like simple great timing that makes me laugh. That made me laugh. Hard.
* Tyree's "are you kidding me, against the helmet??" TD catch. I lost my voice at that point.
* Baskin Robbins trip with many children at halftime, cuz I was not trying to watch Tom Petty. Da hell? (I had Jamoca Almond Fudge)
* Peyton Manning's reaction to his brother's win from the booth, then him later with Eli in the locker room.
* Anytime Tom Brady's ass was in the turf. (Sorry, but I love good Defense, and Brady wears velvet jackets. He needs his ass kicked)

I was opposite of you, I wanted the Pats to go undefeated, but when the Giants scored the last touchdown I was jumping up and down for them. They NEVER thought they couldn't win.
Great game :))
I was one of two in my family who was rooting for the Giants!
"Me too", to all of your favorite moments except...
I didn't get no ice cream. *she pouts*
I love him. That is all. Was Philly pro Patriots?
LOL the EGGGGZZZ made me laugh too.
come on, you should know the answer to that---we hate everybody! I think the general consensus was, well, we hate the Giants, but we'd rather see them rain on the Patriots' parade. That's just from the little bit I've heard, I have done well in avoiding most of it. (cuz you know I hate football!)
Glad to know I was true to my roots. Now...I want IHOP for dinner.
haha, yeah, nothing ever really changes around here. ;-)
we got a Nutter in the mayor's office...hopefully this one's a good one! haha
