Things that went well in '06.

Yay! Here's to good jobs, knowing where your money is, the horrors of writing a novel, and Amy's frozen dinners. (I'm partial to the spinach pizzas._
Ooooh me too me too!!!
sounds like it's been a good year for you. yay for good years. mine's been... ok. interesting. i should do some contemplating on my own, i've made a few changes myself this year.
Give it a spin Liz...it's quite liberating.

What a great post! Reading it reminded me of a lot of the good that happened in my life this year as well. Lots of similar things actually. I needed this becuase I'd actually lost sight of a lot of things because of how the year ended.
My wife and I too battled our debt demons this year and won. Knowing that each paycheck is ours entirely to do what we want with is so liberating. We're saving and investing now, and the feeling is among the best in the world.
I also finished my first novel and am currently seeking an agent or publisher.
I may just have to try a post like this myself.

Kyle, best of luck to you!! Please keep me posted on your efforts. I'm not finished my novel yet...but would love to know what in the heck to do once the time comes. Cheers!

Sounds like you had a WONDERFUL year!! I like the idea of doing an end of the year reflection rather than a new years resolution list.

Mind if I copy you... ;o)

I want to copy too! This was great to read. Congrats on all the positives!
Please, I hope you find it as empowering and fun as I did. Cheers!
Enjoy! I'll look forward to reading. :)

*nods* Looks like you're on your way. I may want to use your post as a template as well soon.
Sounds like a good end to a great year. I couldn't agree more - nothing is every completely lost and you often find good things in the strangest and saddest of times....even if those good things don't pay out immediately.
